Aviation Mechanic - General Exams, Learning Statement Reference Guide
Written as amg009 or AMG009 on your score report.
The FAA's wording
Recall aircraft cleaning - materials / techniques.
What it means
AMG009 is a Learning Statement Code. Tests that are not yet built on an Airman Certification Standards (ACS) document print these codes instead of ACS codes. Each one names a subject the FAA asked about, so seeing AMG009 on your report means at least one of your wrong answers was on this subject.
Seeing it on your score report
Your Airman Knowledge Test Report lists a code for each area where you missed a question. Seeing AMG009 there means at least one of your wrong answers was on this subject. If you are taking the practical test next, expect the examiner to ask about it. Retaking the written? Start with this code and the others on your report.

The A&P mechanic tests now print ACS codes instead. You will see AMG009 only on an older A&P test report. Today's A&P codes
