A&P Powerplant study guide
The 13 A&P Powerplant subject areas
The FAA builds every Aviation Mechanic Powerplant test from its mechanic test standard (FAA-S-ACS-1). It splits the test into 13 subject areas, each with knowledge elements (what you must know) and risk management elements (hazards you must be able to spot and manage). The bars show how much of the test each area can take up, from the FAA. Open an area to see everything the FAA lists for it, with sample questions.
